Parasites of elasmobranchs

This course is dedicated to students and professionals working with elasmobranchs in its various aspects. It is an introductory course where the student will learn about the morphological diversity and importance of shark and ray metazoan parasites. The objective is to provide useful tools for take samples, do descriptions, and the handling of specimens.

Whale Shark Workshop

Telemetry of elasmobranchs

This workshop includes theoretical and practical teachings regarding telemetry of sharks and rays. The basic concepts, types of tagging, application of tags and the data analysis will be included.

Mobulidae Workshop

Description:
The objective of the course is to offer a general perspective on the general characteristics, ecology, reproductive biology and age and growth of moboulids. Emphasis will be made on the identification of species in Latin American waters, as well as the procedures for carrying out scientific research through the experiences of the Manta Trust in other parts of the world
